Room Hire & Catering
We have a variety of rooms to hire, when not in use for our own membership and educational purposes.
These are available to hire either a full or half day.
These range in size from the Birkbeck Suite, which is 135sq Meters, to the Boardroom, which is 24sq Meters.
Our in house team can provide tea, coffee, refreshments and
catered lunches according to your requests.
We also have a fully licenced restaurant & bar that has a variety of sandwiches, snacks, hot food and desserts, as well as hot and cold drinks, beer, wine, ales and spirits.
Limited car parking is also available at the back of our building for members/visitors of the Nottingham Mechanics Institute, please ask for more details.
Birkbeck Suite
This is the largest of our rooms on the ground floor with seating theatre style for 70 socially distanced the room is 156 Sq Meters
This room has its own projector and audio visual system.
The room is on the ground floor with level access for wheelchairs, plus access to a disabled WC.
It is available for Half Day or Full Day hire.

Dickens Suite
This room is on the first floor on the west side of the building. We have a lift to the first floor for access. This is a very light room with lots of windows
The room can hold 55 Theatre Style socially distanced 22 Boardroom and 26 Horseshoe

Catering
On the ground floor, we have a fully licenced restaurant & bar which is available for use by our members and
those attending events and courses within the building.
We sell a variety of sandwiches, snacks, hot food & desserts, as well as hot & cold drinks, beer, wine, ales & spirits.
The restaurant is open 9am - 4pm
(Food served until 2pm)
Alternatively, we can provide catering options within your room booking on request, if you prefer to have lunch in your room.
